Cancellation & Subscription Policy

Free Trial
New MyCheckmark accounts start on a free 3-day Trial. No credit card is required. The Trial gives you full Pro access during the trial window. After the Trial period ends, your saved habits remain intact, and Pro-only tools require an upgrade.
Pro subscription — web (Stripe)
Pro subscriptions purchased through the MyCheckmark website can be billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Pro Annual is $2.99/month billed annually and renews automatically on your billing anniversary date.
How to cancel (web)
- Go to Settings in the MyCheckmark web app.
- Click Open billing portal in the Billing section.
- In the Stripe portal, click Cancel plan and confirm.
Pro subscription — iPhone (Apple App Store)
Pro subscriptions purchased through the MyCheckmark iPhone app are managed entirely by Apple. Billing, renewal, and cancellation all happen through your Apple ID. MyCheckmark does not store your payment information.
How to cancel (iPhone)
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top to open your Apple ID.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap MyCheckmark.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
You can also cancel at reportaproblem.apple.com or through the App Store → your account → Subscriptions.
What happens after cancellation
- Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period — you will not be charged again after cancellation.
- After the billing period ends, your account reverts to Trial-level access (read-only for Pro features, up to 5 active habits).
- Your data — habits, workouts, journal entries, and history — is retained and will be accessible again if you re-subscribe.
- You can delete your account and all associated data at any time via Settings → Delete Account.
Refund policy
Web purchases (Stripe)
We offer a full refund within 7 days of your initial Pro Annual purchase if you contact us at support@mycheckmark.com and have not used Pro-only features extensively. Renewals are not refunded, but you can cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
iPhone purchases (Apple App Store)
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled exclusively by Apple. MyCheckmark cannot issue refunds for App Store transactions. To request a refund from Apple, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
Account deletion
Deleting your account is separate from cancelling your subscription. To permanently remove your account and all personal data from MyCheckmark:
- iPhone: Open MyCheckmark → Settings tab → Delete Account → confirm.
- Web: Open MyCheckmark → Settings → Delete Account → confirm.
Account deletion is irreversible and removes all habits, logs, journal entries, and account information within 30 days. If you have an active paid subscription, cancel it before deleting your account.
